Just about anything that puts the mind, body or soul under pressure is causing stress.
Mind: When it comes to the mind, it is our thoughts that decide whether or not we will perceive something as stressful (a threat) or not. The thoughts I refer to are the millions and millions of automatic subconscious thoughts and beliefs that we have stored up from the experiences we had and observations we made in childhood. Most of the time we are unaware of what these are or how to change them.
Body: Pretty much every food we eat, liquid we drink and exercise we take will either nourish and bring balance to our physical being or cause harm and stress to us. Not just that, our sleep pattern, skincare products, toiletries, posture, exposure to radio active fields, etc, will all have a bearing on our state of health and wellbeing.
Soul: Just like the Mind and Body, our Soul also needs care. Not taking the time to care for and nourish our soul will cause a disconnect between our physical and spiritual connectedness and lead to illness.
